Record graduate intake at BAE Systems Australia

Submarine testing agreement to support new jobs in SA

A new contract has been signed between Osborne based companies ASC and QMS NDT & NACE(QMS) that will see more than 25 local jobs supported through the delivery of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and metal survey services. The new deal will see QMS deliver x-ray and radiographic testing for Collins class submarines as part of the full-cycle docking program. ASC launches recruitment drive for fresh talent

South Australian apprentices have the opportunity to kick start their career in naval shipbuilding, with Australia’s largest defence shipbuilding organisation ASC currently recruiting new talent to join the ranks.  Applications are now open for the shipbuilder’s annual apprentice intake, with positions available for more than 25 apprenticeship positions in trades including metal fabrication, electrical and mechanical engineering.
